You may still complete the race, but will be disqualified in the results.<\/span><\/p>\n In order to complete the Olympic distance you need to be able to complete the swim in under 40 minutes (43 minutes for a mile), bike 16 mph average, and run 12 minutes per mile.\u00a0 If you aren’t sure if you can do this, please register for the sprint distance instead as we have hard cutoffs to open the roadway back up.<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n We invite all athletes who have concerns with the cutoff times to register for the 1\/4 Olympic distance that we offer.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Award times are an estimate.\u00a0 Please arrive 5-10 minutes early.<\/span><\/p>\n The Las Olas Triathlon will be a time trial start, but will be organized into groups of 20-50 people. Line up to start only when it is your group’s time to line up. This way we don\u2019t have 1000 people trying to line up at the same time. When it is time for your group, the announcer will call you to get in line.\u00a0 Once you reach the front of the line, tell the person with the tablet your race number.\u00a0 Once that person says “Go”, run, then swim, like you stole something \ud83d\ude42<\/span><\/p>\n If you miss your group, no problem, just go with the next one.
